The North Carolina Association of Coordinators of Veterans Affairs (NCACVA) is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the 2017 Spring Conference scheduled for March 27-30, 2017 .

The Conference will be held at Harrah’s Cherokee Hotel and Casino in Cherokee, NC.

A conference agenda and handouts will be posted closer to the date of the conference. Registration is open through March 10, 2017.

Please be sure that your Business/Bursar’s Office sends your completed registration form along with payment to the address listed on the Registration Form. NCACVA’s mailing address changes yearly with each new treasurer.

Conference Charity Spotlight

ABCCM’s veteran’s services provide housing, food, case management, education and connection to both mental and physical health providers to residents of ABCCM’s Veterans Restoration Quarters (men’s facility) and Steadfast House (women’s facility). Programs also include Veterans Workforce Investment Program (VWIP), Operation Welcome Home and Supportive Services for Veterans Families (SSVF) helping veteran families in WNC, from Charlotte to Murphy and from Boone to Tryon, with homeless prevention and rapid re-housing. Veterans Employment & Training Services (VETS) assist with skills assessment, training, job placement and coaching for those seeing new career level jobs to break the bond of homelessness and poverty.
